This policy explains what K9aholics Maryland ("we", "us") does with the information you give us on this website. It applies to these landing pages only. If you have a question about anything here, call us on (443) 241-6079.
What we collect
When you fill in the consultation form we collect the details you type: your name, phone number, email address, your dog's name, the program you are interested in and anything you write in the message box.
The form also records the page you submitted from, the date and time, and any advertising parameters that were in the link you clicked. Those parameters can include the search keyword that matched, an approximate location set by the ad platform, a Google click identifier (gclid) and campaign tags. They tell us which advertisement brought you here.
We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, government identification numbers, health information or any other sensitive data through this form.
How we use it
- To call, text or email you back about your enquiry and to arrange a free consultation.
- To recommend a training program and, if you go ahead, to deliver it.
- To measure which advertisements produce enquiries, so we do not waste money on ones that do not.
- To keep records of enquiries and of the consent you gave when you submitted the form.
Calls and text messages
By submitting the form you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message and email at the details you gave, including by automated means. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. You can also simply tell us on the phone and we will take you off the list.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We do use service providers who handle it strictly on our behalf: the company that hosts this website, and the customer relationship system where enquiries land so we can follow them up. Advertising platforms may receive a signal that a form was submitted, used to measure advertisement performance. We will also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
These pages do not set advertising or analytics cookies of their own. Advertising identifiers reach us only as parameters in the link you clicked, as described above.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we are working with you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for our business records and to show what consent was given. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
Maryland residents have rights under the Maryland Online Data Privacy Act: to confirm whether we hold personal data about you and get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data and profiling. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising, but you may still make any of these requests. Everyone else is welcome to make the same requests and we will treat them the same way.
To make a request, call (443) 241-6079. We may need to confirm who you are before we act. If we turn a request down you may ask us to look at it again.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
The form is submitted over an encrypted connection and enquiries are held in access controlled systems. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
